Editor’s Picks: Bringing it all back home.

The days are shorter. The nights hold lingering stories. Pull yourself together and prepare for the winter months ahead! Our Viewville photographers have answered nature’s call:
Thomas Strand sends his chickens home to roost. And even though it looks like Doris will never see her coop again, my bet is on her! James Wendell becomes an urban naturalist and discovers the November chill in New York City’s Central Park Zoo.
And Dan Chung wanders misty and damp city streets, finding a small beacon of light, enveloping us in safety and security for the long winter, just ahead.
My garden is almost asleep, the trees are have shed their leaves and I’ve taken to wearing layers upon layers.
With winter nights nipping at my ankles, my candles are ready to be lit and the water is boiling. I’ve answered nature’s call — now, all I need to do is reconsider that hen house!
